Assessment: Ongoing observation and on activities. Each delegate will receive a Certificate of Attendance.

Requirements: In order to gain the most out of the sessions, we request that the delegates remain on the course throughout and, where possible, a quiet area be allocated to save distraction.

Who is This Course For?

This People Performance Management course is aimed at all staff who have responsibility of performance managing the team, including Team Leaders, Seniors and Managers.

Course Content

The People Performance Management course supports delegates to gain confidence in effectively  carrying  out performance management activities and identifies and utilises a range of person-centred learning and development strategies to support staff improvement and development.

  • Reviewing staff performance
  • Setting and agreeing targets that are SMART
  • Carrying out performance reviews to achieve positive outcomes
  • Exploring why staff underperform and how to deal with it
  • How to have those courageous conversations and convey staff accountability against job description
  • The role of coaching and mentoring
  • Communication, recording and paperwork – their importance of the process
  • How to create a continuous development culture where staff enjoy learning through reflective practice.
