Course Content 

This course looks at what resilience is, why it is important and how to develop resilience in children and young people. This course also helps staff to develop coping strategies and resilience.  

This course can also be tailored to your needs.  

The course covers: 

  • Understanding stress and anxiety 

  • Understanding what resilience is 

  • Knowing why resilience is critical to development and positive mental health in children and young people 

  • Understanding challenges children and young people face and why resilience is a critical skill to deal with these challenges 

  • Developing coping strategies and resilience yourself and being a role model 

  • Helping children and young people to develop coping strategies and resilience

Assessment: Ongoing observation and end of session activity.  Each delegate will receive a Certificate of Attendance.
