Description

Course Content 

This course looks at what anger is, what causes children and young people to become angry, how to recognise different levels of anger and how to diffuse confrontational situations.  

The course covers: 

  • Understanding how to learn and implement de-escalation techniques.  

  • Knowing how to spot signs of anger 

  • Knowing and identifying what can trigger anger 

  • How to recognise different level of anger 

  • Knowing how to appropriate respond to different levels of anger 

  • Strategies to stay calm in difficult situations 

  • Strategies to stay safe in difficult situations 

  • How to learn from difficult situations 

This course can also be tailored to your needs.

Assessment: Ongoing observation and end of session activity. Each delegate will receive a Certificate of Attendance.
