This course looks at what is a learning disability, how to care for children and young people with a learning disability and the support carers may need.
The course covers:

Understanding what the world like for older children and young people who are living with a learning disability

Why stress and frustration can overwhelm children and young people who are living with a learning disability

How to prevent stress and frustration overwhelming children and young people who are living with a learning disability

Assessment: Ongoing observation and end of session activity. Each delegate will receive a Certificate of Attendance.
