This Obsessive-Compulsive Disorder course aims to provide an understanding of Obsessive Compulsive Disorder (OCD), identifying signs, symptoms and the assessment procedures of the condition. It also looks at the background of the condition and the issues that surround it, providing practical ways to better support the client in managing the condition. This will include:
Definition of Obsessive-Compulsive Disorder (OCD) and how does it manifest itself?
- The Assessment process,
- How to support clients with the condition in a personalised way
- The important of record keeping
- Guidance for support.
