SKILLS FOR CARE LEADING CHANGE, IMPROVING CARE (FULLY FUNDED)
Exciting New Programme
This is a 3 day FULLY FUNDED ‘Leading Change and Improving Care a leadership programme developed by Skills for Care, specifically for the social care sector including:-
Influencing, managing and implementing change
Motivating, mentoring and coaching teams
Differences between management and leadership
How to build a considered, outcomes orientated action plan
METHODS OF DELIVERY
Alium use a range of delivery methods to ensure that all training is highly impactful, fully effective and leaves delegates with a clear action plan for application of learnings within their working practices. This includes interactive tutor-led virtual classrooms with break out rooms where delegates have the opportunity to share experiences, network and learn from each other (as would be experienced with face to face delivery). We also offer onsite face to face training (where guidance permits) and provide a blended approach of these delivery methods.

This is an exciting offer for a 3 day FULLY FUNDED Leading Change and Improving Care programme leadership programme developed by Skills for Care specifically for the social care sector.
The programme:
- Takes a practical look at how to influence and implement necessary changes to meet current and future challenges and service needs in health and social care. It explores how to lead and manage change and ultimately improve the quality of care delivered.
- Enables participants to consider their own leadership styles. it focuses on the impact these have on themselves and their team, how to become a more effective leader and how to influence and motivate teams.
- Centres around mentoring and coaching and how to identify and nurture skills in other people to develop high performing teams and grow future talent.
- Provides an opportunity to work with and share issues and ideas with your others within the sector.
It covers:
- Leadership – a shared understanding
- Sources of change – change management versus change leadership
- Motivations to change – application of theory into impactful practice
- Creating a climate for change sharing leadership impact projects and embedding change for future impact
More specifically the course looks at:
- How to lead and manage the process of change within your team and organisation through the use of leadership skills and behaviours
- How to facilitate change sensitively, understanding reactions to change and how to build resilience for change –getting that buy in
- Building an action plan to continue to develop this change in culture within your organisation and ensuring that actions are outcomes based and impactful
HOW TO CLAIM FUNDING FOR SKILLS FOR CARE FULLY FUNDED PROGRAMMES

- Register and / or make sure your ASC – WDF records are fully up to date via their website: https://asc-wds.skillsforcare.org.uk. Should you need our support to do this then contact us on enquiries@aliumcaretraining.co.uk or call us on 0203 4189717
- Print off the one page WDF report as confirmation of your compliance.
- Select preferred dates, book and pay for your ‘Skills for Care Fully Funded Programmes’ via the Alium Care Training website – https://aliumcaretraining.co.uk/fully-funded-courses
- Register your business and above booked courses with a WDF partnership as costs of the programmes will be refunded to you directly via your selected WDF partnership. If you need support with this then please contact us.
- Certificates of attendance will be forwarded from Alium Care Training to the allocated individual that was originally identified on the booking form, once the programme has been fully completed.
