METHODS OF DELIVERY
Alium use a range of delivery methods to ensure that all training is highly impactful, fully effective and leaves delegates with a clear action plan for application of learnings within their working practices. This includes interactive tutor-led virtual classrooms with break out rooms where delegates have the opportunity to share experiences, network and learn from each other (as would be experienced with face to face delivery). We also offer onsite face to face training (where guidance permits) and provide a blended approach of these delivery methods.

This is an exciting offer for a 3-day FULLY FUNDED WELL-LED leadership programme developed by Skills for Care specifically for the social care sector.
Alium Care Training is endorsed by Skills for Care as a ‘Centre of Excellence’ as a mark of our commitment to providing high quality, impactful learning and development for the adult social care sector.
Well-led is a national leadership development programme for managers of adult social care services working in the private, public or third sectors. Real-life examples from managers of organisations rated ‘good’ and ‘outstanding’ are used to show what is needed to achieve and sustain high standards to deliver high-quality, person-centred care. The programme will support learners to gain a very clear understanding of what well-led looks like and find solutions to improve the quality of care.
The programme is underpinned by models of leadership that can be practically applied to deliver change and secure a well-led future.
Programme outcomes:
The Well-led programme will support learners to:
- Understand how leadership strategies and techniques can be used to transform services and improve the quality of care
- Enhance leadership skills to become a more effective leader.
- Gain improved confidence to lead services in an increasingly complex and challenging sector.
- Develop clear goals to improve personal leadership effectiveness.
- Learn from others and share experiences and ideas with peers to develop a strong support network.

Module 2: Leading a successful service – looking around
Module 3: Leading high performing teams – looking sideways
Module 4: Leading in and beyond the boundaries of your service – looking outwards

HOW TO CLAIM FUNDING FOR SKILLS FOR CARE FULLY FUNDED PROGRAMMES

- Register and / or make sure your ASC – WDS records are fully up to date via their website: https://asc-wds.skillsforcare.org.uk. Should you need our support to do this then contact us on enquiries@aliumcaretraining.co.uk or call us on 0203 4189717
- Print off the one page WDS report as confirmation of your compliance.
- Select preferred dates, book and pay for your ‘Skills for Care Fully Funded Programmes’ via the Alium Care Training website – https://aliumcaretraining.co.uk/fully-funded-courses
- Register your business and above booked courses with a WDS partnership as costs of the programmes will be refunded to you directly via your selected WDS partnership. If you need support with this then please contact us.
- Certificates of attendance will be forwarded from Alium Care Training to the allocated individual that was originally identified on the booking form, once the programme has been fully completed.

The Well Led programme was recommended to me as I had recently taken on a management position. Although I am not directly working in social care the programme is relevant to the work that I will be doing. The course was held remotely over Zoom, but for me as the group was only small, I did not feel that it had a negative impact on my learning – in fact I feel it made the experience better as I was able to get to know the other two ladies.
The Trainer delivered the course in a way that made it easy to follow and understand. They made us all feel at ease, ensured we all participated and did not move on until she was sure we were happy. When it came to discussions, we were put in a breakout room, and this gave us the opportunity to offer advice/support to each other.
I have come away with much knowledge that will help me become more efficient in my role. I would highly recommend this course to anyone going into management. As a result of this course, I am now enrolled on the Lead to Succeed course.
