COURSE OUTLINE
This 2 day Train the Trainer Infection Prevention & Control course provides delegates with the skills, knowledge and confidence to become an effective Trainer in this subject and ensures that the delivery of an Infection Prevention & Control course is impactful so staff fully understand and apply their learnings into working practices. This then supports the organisation to maintain Regulatory Compliance. It also explains how to maintain Trainers own CPD requirements.
As a new start up we wanted to ensure our training program was to a high standard. After speaking with multiple training providers, I got the impression they were just there to fill up slots. - Different types of germs and infection
- Health Care Associated Infections (HCAI)
- The importance of infection control and the management of HCAI
- Effective hand washing techniques
- Effective use of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE)
- How Infection can be Prevented based on current guidance
- The importance of following company policies and procedures
- The role of reflective practice and continuous professional practice

Delegates will be provided with key pieces of information and asked to take notes so as to encourage and enable them to modify/create their own bespoke session based on their audience needs and learning styles. They will be supported throughout the session to do this.Â
* All one-day refresher courses cover updates and support reflective practice plus continuous professional development to help delegates to improve and update their delivery. We also provide support and guidance for any challenges faced.Â
